CARLSBAD, Calif. – Oct. 27, 2004– Champions Tour rookie and Callaway Golf (NYSE:ELY) staff professional Mark McNulty rallied from five strokes back Sunday to win the Charles Schwab Championship, his third win this year and his second in a row. As he has in all his Champions Tour victories, McNulty used the HX Tour Golf Ball and Callaway Golf clubs.

In addition to the HX Tour Golf Ball, McNulty used the Great Big Bertha II Pro Series Driver, Steelhead(R) X-16(R) Pro Series 4 through 9 Irons and Big Bertha 2 and 3 Irons, and Big Bertha Strong 4-wood and Steelhead Plus 7-wood.

McNulty's season-ending victory marked the 38th worldwide win for the remarkably long HX Tour Golf Ball, which features proprietary HEX Aerodynamics for consistent flight stability in all playing conditions. McNulty birdied five of the final eight holes at the Sonoma Golf Club to shoot a 6-under-par 66 for an 11-under-par total of 277, one stroke clear of Tom Kite.

In addition to McNulty's victory, the winner of the PGA Tour's Funai Classic used equipment from the Callaway Golf family of brands, wielding an Odyssey Rossie II putter in his inaugural PGA Tour victory. It was the third week in a row on the PGA Tour that an Odyssey putter was used by the champion.
