MONTEREY, Calif. – Oct. 27, 2004 – Dr. Lee Miller, CEO of the Feel Golf Company, announced recently that the new designer wrap version of their game improvement Full Release Grip has received a “Conforms to USGA” ruling.
This revolutionary new Full Release Grip, with its Patent Pending “Taper Tip Technology”, is the first major equipment design change in over 100 years. The Full Release Grip was first introduced at the 2004 PGA Merchandise Show and generated an incredible amount of “buzz” amongst media members and industry insiders.
“This new Designer Wrap is in direct response to what our test groups have asked for,” stated Miller. “While many of the players in these test groups liked the way the X-Line and X-Wrap felt in their hands, some players were looking for a slightly “softer” feel. This new Designer Wrap is very soft and extremely comfortable in your hands.”
The Full Release Grip, even in its prototype stage at the time, was named “The Top Discovery of The 2004 PGA Merchandise Show” in the February 7, 2004 issue of Golfweek magazine and “Best Of Show” Honors At The Fall 2004 PGA Expo.
Employing the same logic and principles from other sports, Feel Golf has developed a grip that allows you to fully release the club and attain maximum club head speed. The “Taper Tip Technology” design of this grip is thinner in the left hand and thicker in the right hand – similar to the grip of a baseball bat. The Full Release Grip allows you to more easily hold the club in just the fingers of your hand allowing you to fully release the club through impact, greatly reducing or even eliminating the dreaded slice or hook shots that plague so many of today’s golfers.
The grips are available at Golfsmith locations as well as other Feel Golf retailers nationwide and through Feel Golf’s website, www.feelgolfgrips.com.
