HARLEYVILLE, Pa. -- Lederach Golf Club and Billy Casper Golf (“BCG”) today announce that weather permitting the much-anticipated championship layout designed by Kelly Blake Moran and owned by Lower Salford Township will open for public play on Saturday, April 8.
Eight-day advance tee times can be made online beginning March 31st and course updates are regularly posted on Lederach’s website at www.lederachgolfclub.com. To contact the golf course, call 215-513-3034.
Set amid rolling farmland north of Philadelphia – just off exit 31 on the Northeast Extension – the design typifies Moran’s “land-based” approach to golf course design and has a delightful links feel utilizing ample undulations, scenic ridges and sweeping valleys. Lederach protects par not with forced carries or other modern design gimmicks, but with an array of natural hazards such as false fronts, collection areas, swales and grass bunkers.
