getaways now offers an opportunity for families to play together – on and
off the golf course. Hershey’s new and exclusive Family Golf Package is the
perfect way to enjoy some time on the links, plus experience the sweet

Later this summer, families may experience the newly renovated Spring Creek
Golf Course, an extraordinary family-friendly, nine-hole layout that is set
to re-open in July. For the more experienced golf family, take on the

Hershey is consistently ranked as one of the top golf resorts in the United
States by Golf Digest. Spring Creek is almost ready to show off $750,000 in
renovations that began last fall, resulting in a new design to enhance the
course routing, improve pace of play and increase overall player enjoyment.
While remaining “beginner-friendly,” Spring
Creek now plays to a par-33 and 2,200 yards, and features two sets of tees
to create an 18-hole experience as well. The second nine is 2,416 yards,
creating an 18-hole experience for totals of par-66 and 4,616 yards. The extensive renovations
include three new hole designs, restoration and modification of six existing
holes, complete irrigation system, turfgrass replacement throughout the
course, and the addition of 220 playing yards.
The East Course is one of two private layouts at Hershey Country Club, which
extends playing privileges to resort guests. Built in 1970, the East Course
features elevated greens, man-made lakes and more than 100 bunkers.
Designer George Fazio captured the natural beauty of Central Pennsylvania's
countryside with spectacular views that golfers can appreciate on every
hole. The par-71 plays to 7,061 yards, with a course rating of 74.5 and
slope rating of 136.
The Family Golf Package is available at spring and summer midweek rates.
From May 28 through June 15, accommodations at The Hotel Hershey start at
$398, and rates at Hershey Lodge start at $298. From June 16 through
September 3, the rates at The Hotel Hershey start at $478, and rates at
Hershey Lodge start at $378. For either accommodation, the price is per
person, per night and based on double adult occupancy and availability,
excluding tax and gratuities. Some restrictions may apply.
