LOS ANGELES, CA – Oct. 27, 2004 – Brush-T, the revolutionary golf teeing system that has consistently shown its ability to provide golfers with added distance off the tee, has announced that it has received U.S. Patent Approval on its unique Brush-T bristle tee application.
"We currently have patents for our bristle tee application in Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, and we have other U.S. and foreign patents pending," noted Paul Krok, President of Brush-T North America. "Obtaining a patent in the U.S. is a critical step in protecting our product s worldwide."
The Brush-T is a tee system that utilizes synthetic bristles to tee up the ball. The bristles bend at impact, replicating the feel of grass and reducing the interference associated with hitting a ball off a wooden or plastic tee. The reduced resistance improves distance and reduces sidespin to increase accuracy off the tee.
Independent robotic testing has proven that the Brush-T increases driving distance between 3.2 and 7 yards and reduces deflection by 2 percent for enhanced accuracy. In addition, the Brush-T is virtually indestructible with normal use, lasting round after round.
The four Brush-T models include; a 3 wood, 2", a Driver, 2.2", an Oversize, 2.4" and the new XL-T, 3-1/8." The XL-T, the tallest of the models, adds to the distance provided by the Brush-T by having a secondary row of bristles that support its extra length. All four Brush-T's now come in the new white model, and all conform to the rules of both the United States Golf Association and The Royal and Ancient Golf Society of St. Andrews.
The Brush-T is available at leading golf retailers, including Golfsmith, Edwin Watts, ProGolf Discount, Golf Galaxy, Nevada Bob's and Roger Dunn Golf Shops. It can also be purchased over the company's Web site, www.golfbrusht.com.
