Reality TV gone mad. The Big Break series on the Golf Channel is just plain bleak. Will someone please tell me who these clowns are? Man alive, what a bunch of self-centered brats. If these guys are the embodiment of what golf is today, we are in trouble.

I watched part of a re-run of one of these shows the other night and it reminded me of the worst parts of what the Ryder Cup has become - over-the-top intensity and over-the-top competitiveness. Let’s just turn it into Tackle Golf and move on.

I guess though, it’s like every other reality show - a chance to watch stupid people acting stupid.
