Going Pro experiment tracks progress of 'average duffer' online

Have you ever wondered if professional golfers are as good as they are because of natural ability or simply because they have been given the opportunity to train regularly and have access to the most up to date technology? Ever wonder how good you could be with more practice and training, how far you could hit the ball with the newest driver and the best technology behind you? Or maybe you just can’t play and none of this would even make a difference to your game? Let’s find out!

I am your average weekend duffer but with the help of Jon Roy, one of Canada’s top up and coming golf professionals, we are going to find out how good I can be. Follow us each week as I train, practice and attempt to improve my hopeless golf game. Each week I will be updating my progress or lack thereof.
