Renaissance Resort offers Florida Champions Golf Package

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla -- The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, ideally located next to the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, is offering an exceptional new golf package called the "Florida Champions Golf Package." Available through September 30, 2006, the package includes deluxe accommodations, golf cart and greens fees on the resort’s renowned King & Bear or popular Slammer & Squire course, club storage, admission to the World Golf Hall of Fame and its IMAX® Theater, and one hour of use of the resort’s professional indoor Full Swing golf simulator.

Through April 30, 2006, the package is from $201 per person, per night (based on double occupancy). In May 2006, the package is from $187 per person, per night. From June 1-September 30, 2006, the package is from $156 per person, per night. Rates are based on double occupancy, and the taxes are included.

In addition to the new package, the resort just announced that it is offering a special "Value Rate" of $129 per room, per night, through March 31, 2006 (based on availability).

Set in the heart of the beautifully landscaped, 6,300-acre World Golf Village, the luxurious Renaissance Resort was recently named to Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s "Top 100 Golf Resorts" list, and to Golf Digest magazine’s list of the "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America." They partnered with architect Bobby Weed to create this impressive par 72 tree-lined course which features gentle rolling fairways and challenging lakes. The 6,939-yard course is distinguished by memorable par 3’s, and for its preservation of the woodlands, wetlands and natural beauty of St. Augustine.

Both courses feature such on-course amenities as chilled apples on the first and tenth holes, complimentary range balls, and Global Positioning System (GPS) in every cart.

Guests of The Renaissance also have access to PGA TOUR Golf Academy, which offers of full schedule of golf schools and private lessons, and features expansive practice facilities, including a 2,700-square-foot learning center with all-weather hitting bays and multiple covered tee areas.
