UpLink rolls out new GPS maintenance-vehicle tracking module

UpLink has launched TracLink, an integrated superintendent manager module for its new INOVA GPS system.

"Superintendents are challenged with managing multiple crews working in many different locations across the course and using a large number of maintenance vehicles," said Blake Ponuick, chief marketing officer at UpLink. "By monitoring the locations of all maintenance vehicles and equipment in real-time, TracLink helps them manage their crews more efficiently and gives them the real-time information they need to quickly locate and deploy specific vehicles and staff to new locations as priorities change."

The system wirelessly sends a color course map to the superintendent's computer that displays GPS tracking devices attached to each service vehicle. The superintendent can view the locations of all vehicles in real-time, replay recordings of vehicles locations and paths at any point in time and generate management reports.

"TracLink is available with INOVA, a complete GPS system that utilizes an integrated widescreen dashview or roofview GPS displays. The dashview version is available with select Club Car vehicles, while the INOVA roofview version is available for any make or model of golf car, including Club Car, Yamaha and EZ-GO.
