FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (Feb. 20, 2006) -- Across the globe, Titleist played an
important role in four victories. On the Champions Tour, it played a part
in history. When long-time Titleist golf ball loyalist Loren Roberts
relied upon the Pro V1 to capture The Ace Group Classic, he became the
first player to win three consecutive events to start the season. He was
joined in the Titleist winners' circle by Charlie Wi, who birdied the final
hole to win the PGA European Tour's Malaysian Open. At the LPGA and
Nationwide Tour season-openers, Joo Mi Kim and Paul Sheehan placed their
trust in Titleist to earn their first career wins on their respective tours
in sudden-death playoffs. Continued proof, that when it comes to global
glory, no golf ball wins the world over like Titleist.

PGA TOUR: Titleist ambassador Adam Scott fired a final round 7-under 64,
three shots better than the next best Sunday score, and finished runner-up
by one stroke at the Nissan Open. Fellow Pro V1x player Craig Barlow was
another stroke back to give Titleist players two of the top three positions
on the leaderboard.

In addition to playing the Pro V1x golf ball, Scott was 2nd in Driving
Distance (298.8) and T11 in Driving Accuracy (67.9%) relying upon the
consistent performance of the new Titleist Pro Titanium 905R driver.
Trusting Titleist from tee-to-green, Scott also carried a prototype fairway
metal, Forged 695MB irons, Vokey Design prototype sand and lob wedges and a
Scotty Cameron by Titleist Newport 2 putter which helped him rank among the
Top 5 in Putts Per Round and Putts Per Green in Regulation.

In fact, each of the top three finishers trusted Scotty Cameron by Titleist
putters for their success. The winner relied upon a Cameron Xperimental
prototype, while the SC-303 model was the choice of the third-place
finisher.

Titleist was the golf ball choice of 97 players at the event, nearly seven
times the nearest competitor with 14. It was also the most played brand in
the wedge (113 vs. 60) and putter (56 vs. 19) categories. Titleist was a
close second in drivers with 32 players, twice as many as the next closest
competitor with 16, and in the iron category with 30 sets in play.
Titleist fairway metals continue to earn more acceptance each week with 40
in bags of players at the Nissan Open, just seven shy of the number two
position.

PGA EUROPEAN TOUR: South Korea's Charlie Wi (Pro V1x) birdied his final
hole for a closing 9-under 63 to win the Malaysian Open by one shot over
the two-time defending champion. Wi finished the co-sanctioned PGA
European and Asian Tour event at 19-under 197. The tournament was reduced
to 54 holes due to adverse weather conditions. Frenchman Raphael Jacquelin
(Pro V1x) carded the week's best score with a final round 62 to finish in
third place, two shots back.

Titleist was the golf ball of choice for 118 players in the field (79%),
more than 10 times the nearest competitor with 11.

CHAMPIONS TOUR: Loren Roberts (Pro V1) posted a final round 3-under 69 en
route to a 14-under 202 total and a history-making third consecutive
victory to start the Champions Tour season. His one-shot win at The ACE
Group Classic followed triumphs at the season-opening MasterCard
Championship and Turtle Bay Championship in Hawaii to become the first
player in tour history to win each of the first three official events of
the year. R.W. Eaks (Pro V1x) fired a final round 5-under 67, to finish
T2.

Titleist was the golf ball of choice for 61 players (78%), more than seven
times the nearest competitor with 8, including 7 of the top 10 finishers.

LPGA TOUR: Joo Mi Kim (Pro V1x) holed a 2-foot birdie putt on the second
sudden-death playoff hole to capture the SBS Open at Turtle Bay for her
first career LPGA Tour title. Kim, fellow Korean Soo Young Moon (Pro V1x)
and a third competitor all finished regulation at 10-under 206. The
21-year-old Kim joined the tour last year after a successful stint on the
Korea LPGA Tour where she earned rookie and player of the year honors in
2003. Karen Stupples (Pro V1x) shot a 67 to finish fourth at 8-under 208.

Titleist was the golf ball of choice for 105 players (79.5%) in the field
of 132, seven times more than the nearest competitor with 15.

NATIONWIDE TOUR: Paul Sheehan (Pro V1x) earned his first career Nationwide
Tour title after outlasting full-line Titleist Staff player Michael Sim
(Pro V1x, 905T driver, 904F 3-metal, Forged 670 irons, Vokey Design pitch,
sand, lob wedges, Scotty Cameron Futura putter) on the second hole of a
playoff to capture the Jacob's Creek Open Championship, a co-sanctioned
event on the Nationwide and Australasian Tours. Sheehan (69) and
third-round leader Sim (71) finished regulation tied at 7-under 281.

Full-line Titleist Staff players Arron Price (Pro V1x, 905S driver, 975F
3-metal, 503.H utility iron, Forged 695CB irons, Vokey Design pitch, sand
and lob wedges) and Jarrod Lyle (Pro V1x, 905S driver, 904F 3-metal, Forged
670 irons, Vokey Design pitch, approach and lob wedges, Scotty Cameron
prototype putter) tied for 4th.

A total of 117 players (75%) teed up a Titleist golf ball, 14 times more
than the nearest competitor with 8. Titleist golf ball players accounted
for 11 of the 14 who finished among the Top 10 and ties. Scotty Cameron
putters were also trusted by 4 of the top 5 finishers, including the
champion (SC-303 SSS).

In addition to being the top choice in golf balls at the Nationwide Tour's
2006 season-opener, Titleist was the field favorite in the iron (41),
utility iron (8), wedge (146) and putter (53) categories, second in drivers
(41) and a close third in fairway metals (33).

WORLDWIDE WINS: Four more victories this week advances Titleist's worldwide
golf ball win count to 19, nearly five times more than the nearest
competitor with 4.
