Firethorn Golf adds 'traditional with a twist' outerwear collection

Jan. 26, 2006 -- Traditionally speaking, golfers are a hearty bunch who willingly brave the elements to reach their goal. Today’s twist has them weathering the storm in style, as Firethorn Golf unveiled it's 2006 “Traditional with a Twist” outerwear at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando.

The weather-resistant, versatile, and comfortable gear is outfitted with the company’s F-Tech technology--high-performance, water-resistant features that are breathable and practically noiseless.

Gone is the “swish” sound commonly associated with moderately priced outerwear; in its place are lightweight, stylish and bold designs, featuring extensive weather-resistant detailing. Storm flaps, high side zippers, and elastic or drawstring waists are standard on nearly all gear, while protected scorecard pockets, cell phone pockets, and adjustable cuffs promote an element-proof experience.

“Firethorn Golf outerwear delivers serious performance, and throws in punchy elements that matter," said North American VP of Sales and Marketing, Mark Segall. "Our designers enjoy the freedom to add accent piping, color blocking, and multi-function capabilities, all at a remarkably affordable price point.”

The 2006 outerwear collection, beginning at US $49.99 MSRP, is available in a bold selection of colors including Dazzling Blue, Jockey Red, and Rattan, as well as its “Classics” hues including Black, Incense, and True Navy.
