Platinum Golf Academy opens in Arizona to offer lessons, clinics

Platinum Golf Properties is pleased to announce the opening of Platinum Golf Academy, offering golf schools, clinics, outings and lessons.

Platinum Golf Properties has recruited one of Arizona’s top instructors and a past teaching professional at the Golf Club at Eagle Mountain, Derek Nannen. As Director of Instruction for Platinum Golf Academy, Nannen will lead instruction for all clinics and schools at the Golf Club at Eagle Mountain. Nannen has also added several new programs for juniors, beginners, and experienced golfers, as well as customized golf schools for local and out-of-town guests.

Most recently, Nannen has been teaching for ESPN Golf Schools at the TPC Scottsdale. He has had the opportunity to work with some of the top instructors in the world, including Jim McLean, Hank Haney, and Jim Flick which has helped him become a well recognized and reputable golf instructor.

Nannen also has the playing experience to back-up his teaching, participating in the Nationwide Tour event at Whirlwind Golf Club and on the PGA Tour, playing in the Tucson Open in 2005. This tournament experience combined with Nannen’s teaching background will provide guests of Eagle Mountain the best golf instruction in the valley.
