ZUG, Switzerland (Dec. 20, 2005) -- XL Generation International Inc., a leading provider of artificial turf products and other leisure and sports surfaces has kept its development pace constant through the beginning of December, and introduced its XL Pro Turf System to major decision makers gathered at three professional sports specialists exhibitions in the US and Europe.
These exhibitions, presented almost simultaneously, allowed XL Generation to introduce its products to the Athletic Business Conference & Expo, held in Florida, the annual meeting of the US Soccer Players Association, held in Las Vegas and the "Salon du Football", held in Marseille, France, the worldwide capital of soccer.
The 24th edition of the Athletic Business Conference & Expo, held in Orlando, Florida, from December 1st to 3rd, gathered some 300 exhibitors and 3000 participants, all of them industry specialists from the athletic, the fitness recreation, the medical and the health sectors from the United States.
Four Canadian and one American distributor of XL Turf products, namely Cascadia, Forever Green, Progreen and Centaur USA were present at this event. Each of them offering the business representatives with a presentation that allowed XL Generation to take an enviable position among a prestigious group of decision makers.
XL Generation's products were well received by the US sports business community in Florida, when it sponsored the third annual Birdies for Breast Cancer Charity Golf Classic hosted by Mrs. Cristie Kerr. This golf tournament took place at the Reunion Resort and Club for the benefit of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute.
Simultaneously, XL Generation was present in Las Vegas, at the annual meeting of the US Soccer Players Association. Mr. Robson Mello, XL Generation's Sales Director for the Americas, and Mr. Erik Wynalda, a US soccer player star and member of the USSPA, also representative for XL Generation, introduced XL Generation and its XL Turf products to players and directors of the USSPA which showed great interest. This USSPA meeting was also an occasion to support a major fundraiser event held for the benefit of the US Leukemia Society.
XL Generation also seized the opportunity to position its XL Turf system products at the "Salon du Football", held from December 9 to 11, in Marseille, France. The highlight of this event was a live exhibition by the former players of the OM (Olympique de Marseille) Star Club that played a demonstration game on a 30 X 15 Meters XL Turf Pitch. After the game, players Gaetan Huard and Alain Boghossian, world champion player in 1998, met at the XL Generation's booth and expressed their enthusiasm for the product.
