AVONDALE, Pa. (Dec. 15, 2005) -- Forewinds Hospitality LLC, a division of Sawyer Realty Holdings, has announced the completion of its acquisition of Sterling Country Club in Sterling, Massachusetts. Located approximately one-hour outside of Boston, Sterling Country Club, built in 1991, is a private golf club featuring an 18-hole championship course designed by Michael Hurdzan. The course is complemented by a clubhouse and banquet facility.

“We are very pleased to officially add Sterling to our portfolio of golf destination properties. The course is just as its name suggests, championship level and impeccably maintained,” stated Ron Winarick, Managing Director of Forewinds Hospitality LLC. “With the acquisition complete, we are currently studying plans for renovations to the clubhouse and planning capitol improvements. Details regarding such will be announced in the first quarter of 2006.

While plans for capitol improvements and renovations move forward, Forewinds will maintain Sterling’s position as a membership golf club and continues to sell new memberships. “Sterling’s current members are very happy about Forewinds’ purchase and have welcomed the stability and dynamic principles we bring to the table. Our company mission is to create quality destinations, and we see a great deal of potential at Sterling to create a signature Forewinds property of great golf for members along with unmatched hospitality, dining and catering services for the public,” added Winarick.
