Ace Golf initiates million-dollar facelift of Pebble Creek in Tampa, Fla.

Tampa’s conveniently located Pebble Creek Public Golf Club (www.pebblecreekclub.com) gets a $1 million facelift with new greens & tees, a clubhouse facelift, an expanded maintenance and management staff, and more with its new owner: locally, family-owned Ace Golf.

Golfers are already seeing immediate improvements in the course, starting with a complete overseed of tees and greens and a brand-new GPS-equipped golf cart fleet. Updates are also in store for the clubhouse, landscaping, cart path and bridges. In the spring, new Champion Bermudagrass greens and Celebration Bermuda tees will be installed.

As one of Tampa’s oldest courses, par 71 Pebble Creek is distinguished by wide fairways and mature oaks where water plays on almost every hole. Already one of the more affordable golf options, Pebble Creek offers a great golf value with one of the best course layouts around. For Tee Times, call (813) 973-3870.

Ace Golf is privately owned by Tampa residents Bill Place and Su Lee. Ace Golf has been in the golf practice range, pro shop, miniature golf, and batting cage business for 12 years. They operate 3 locations – Tampa (Linebaugh Avenue and Veterans), Brandon (Kings and Lumsden), and Riverview (Boyette near Bell Shoals). The Riverview golf range was recently awarded Top 5 New Range in the US. See them on the web at www.ace-golf.com . Place says “Pebble Creek is one of Tampa’s oldest and best golf courses. Now, with local ownership and new investment, it’s going to be the course that you love to go back to.”
