Dixon's Black Bear mowers a good bet for tight spaces

Dixon's Black Bear ZTR mower, part of its new Pro Series, offers operators the ability to get in and out of tight mowing spaces thanks to a cutting width of 34 inches.

Also available in a 44-inch width, the Black Bear decks are fabricated of seven-gauge welded-steel and feature quarter-inch-thick Fusion blades, rugged, oversized cast-iron spindle hubs and oversized bearings. Its heavy-duty rubber discharge chute won't dent or damage landscaping obstacles.

A 17-position deck height adjustment lever, with foot assist, allows for 1.5- to 5.5-inch cutting heights.

The mower offers either a 16 HP Kawasaki KAI twin (34-inch cut only) or 18 HP Kohler Command Pro engine. It features dual Parker H1 pumps and Parker TE wheel motors, ballistic-cloth and foam seat, 13-inch front wheels and 23-inch rear wheels.
