Bargain rates for Palm Springs desert escape

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. -- Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa has unveiled a special reduced rate for guests booking a visit to take place in December. As the season gets underway in the sun-drenched Palm Springs area, Hyatt invites guests to stay anytime between December 11 and December 24 for just $149 per night (excluding resort service fee and taxes)*, based on availability.

Having completed a $65 million expansion in 2003 the resort now offers seven swimming pools – one an adult-only pool with shaded cabanas and internet access; and one a kid’s waterslide and pool. Also a result of the expansion, the Agua Serena Spa and The Medical and Skin Spa located on property offer guests the opportunity to unwind and relax with a variety of traditional and sophisticated spa services, just steps away from their room. In addition, the resort offers golf at the surrounding Golf Resort at Indian Wells, tennis, a state-of-the-art workout center, bicycles, Camp Hyatt for Kids, and more.

“We invite more people to come to the desert to enjoy our exceptional weather, outstanding resort, fine area restaurants, and an array of recreational options -- especially in December when it is often raining and snowing in other locations,” said John Hernstat, Director of Sales and Marketing for Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa. “We are able to offer this reduced rate during December when our property is not full, as it often is during the other in-season months (November through May).”
