Golf Connoisseur reports strong growth

TULSA, Okla. (Nov. 28, 2005) -- Golf Connoisseur, published by Riggs Heinrich Media, Inc., reports strong growth in its inaugural year.

"We are very pleased with the results of our first year," says R. Chris Riggs, Chairman and CEO. "Our advertising revenue showed double-digit growth from our premiere issue. We had nearly a 50% sell-through rate at newsstands with our first three issues. Our circulation averaged more than 260,000 copies -- a 10% bonus over our guaranteed rate base -- through new paid subscriptions and direct requests from the country's top private golf clubs, hotels,
resorts, casinos, and spas."

Plans for 2006 are to continue building on that success. Says Riggs: "As of May, Golf Connoisseur will go bi-monthly, and we plan to increase our newsstand presence in major airports. Most of all, I am proud of the reader response to our first four issues. We have a significant base of loyal readers, which should provide a strong foundation for growth in 2006."

Another focus in the new year will be luxury events. Golf Connoisseur is making plans to host "Nights of Luxury" at prestigious private clubs across the United States. "These 'Nights of Luxury' will enable our affluent readers to get face-to-face with luxury products and services from our advertisers, right at their own clubs," according to Bob Schwartz, Marketing Director.

A new regional and fractional pricing program for advertisers will supplement Golf Connoisseur's national pricing strategy. "We have implemented four regional advertising opportunities: Northeast, South, Midwest, and West," explain Joe Kelly and Ken Wallace, co-publishers of Golf Connoisseur. "In addition, 1/2-page and 1/6-page fractional opportunities give our advertisers more ways to reach our readers and their customers."

Looking back at 2005, Riggs says, "For an independent media company, we have had a very successful launch year. We look forward to growing Golf Connoisseur's affluent reader base into 2006 and beyond."
