RTCI adds top marketing guru to advisory board

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Resort Clubs International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RTCI), announced the addition of Van Mayros, one of the leading marketing and database developers in the country, to their advisory board.

RTCI is an 11 year old diversified golf marketing company that is currently developing a national golf membership program called ClubShare. This program will give a private club member access to elite golf properties throughout the country when they travel.

Dr. Mayros is the principal partner in Geneva Global, a Tampa based Customer Relations Management ("CRM") firm. Geneva Global specializes as a database marketing and consulting services provider. He has authored several books on database marketing, CRM and their integration with marketing management. In addition, he has been featured in many national and international publications as one of the leading authorities in marketing.

During his 20-year practice, Dr. Mayros has been a trusted business advisor and has provided CRM and marketing leadership to the global Fortune 500. He has been a conference speaker worldwide with over 20,000 companies in attendance.

Dr. Mayros is credited with being the principle designer of the Marketing Intelligence Laboratory of Tomorrow ("MILT"). All components of marketing, business development, customer optimization and database marketing for the next generation are included in MILT.

Bob Johnson, CEO of RTCI commented: "One of the challenges in marketing to the golf consumer is to reach buyers that have demonstrated interest in your product or service. With the help of Dr. Mayros, we will build the most dynamic golf database and related knowledge system in the United States which will let us identify our best prospective customers and reduce our marketing costs significantly."

Dr. Mayros is an avid golfer and has participated in the National Long Driving Contest. His affinity for golf was one of the factors that led him to join RTCI's Advisory Board. Dr. Mayros stated: "Nothing excites me more than seeing small emerging companies become major players in an industry, especially when I'm part of it. I've done this before and look forward to the challenge of creating the new millennium marketing model for the golf industry."
