Supermodels to grace Arabella's fairways

CAPE TOWN, – Oct. 19, 2004 – It will not only be some of the legends and best in the game of golf who will be seen on the fairways at Arabella Country Estate for the 2004 Nelson Mandela Invitational presented by Coca-Cola at the end of November: tournament host Gary Player will be welcoming British supermodel Jodie Kidd, who has confirmed that she will return to play after her debut appearance in 2003.

“I'm thrilled to be returning to Cape Town and Arabella for this year’s Nelson Mandela Invitational,” said Kidd from her London home, “last year was such a great success and I'm looking forward to returning to support the very worthy children’s charities.”

Joining Kidd is Spanish supermodel Inis Sastre, recently the face of Lanctme’s Trisor fragrance, and who has featured on the covers of several editions of Elle, Vogue and Glamour around the world. She has also modelled the creations of the world’s best known designers on the catwalks of Paris and Milan.

The 31-year-old, who graduated from Paris' famous Sorbonne University, is also an accomplished film actress with several major parts in Italian and French movies - and even a part in the re-make of the romantic comedy Sabrina which starred Harrison Ford.

When not acting or modeling Sastre is a UNICEF ambassador and enjoys horse-riding, swimming and, of course, golf. No surprise then, that she should choose to play in the Nelson Mandela Invitational that has as its beneficiaries two worthy children's charities in the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund and The Player Foundation.
