Rosie Jones is elected to the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Rosie Jones, a 13-time LPGA Tour event winner, is one of four individuals recently elected to the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame. Jones will be inducted along with George S. Hamer, Jr., Martha Wilkinson Kirouac and Tim Simpson during the 18th Annual Georgia Golf Hall of Fame Banquet on Jan. 7, 2006.

To be eligible for induction into the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, an individual must be born in Georgia and lived here for a reasonable period of time; or have participated in a golf activity in Georgia; or have been born a citizen of Georgia and brought honor to the state through his/her golf endeavors; and participated in the sport for 20 years or have been inactive for five years.
