Magique Golf introduces new game improvement M2 irons

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Magique Golf has always designed clubs that help the average player get the most from their game.

The company has now taken that philosophy to a new level by introducing its new game-improvement irons, the Magique M2 series.

These irons, designed for the mid to high-handicapper, were designed and developed to build the confidence and ball-striking ability of the weekend golfer. The M2 series features a polished 431 stainless steel head for visual confidence and outstanding feel. The progressive, undercut Hi-Vector sole design moves the center of gravity lower in the clubhead and behind the face to produce higher, longer shots for players with average to below average swing speed. The exclusive “M Back” cavity design distributes weight evenly across the sweet spot for consistent distance control on off center hits.

The M2 irons are available in 3-9 plus PW and SW with a list price of $56 per club with a True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shaft. They also are available at a price of $62 per club with UST High Performance Graphite shafts.

“The new M2 irons perfectly reflect our philosophy of club design,” said Sean Sheppard, president of Magique Golf. “They were designed with the weekend player in mind, so they offer the specific benefits that type of player is looking for, like a high launch angle, lower kick points in the shafts and forgiveness of off-center hits. They were not designed by an engineer for a Tour Pro; they were designed by a teaching professional for the average player and for that reason, you won’t find an easier club to play than the Magique M2 irons. And we offer all this at about half the price of comparable clubs from the major brands.”

In addition to the technology benefits found in the M2 irons, Magique’s custom fitting system also provides dramatic game improvement. The company uses a proprietary set of static and dynamic fitting criteria to help players get the best performance possible from their clubs, a process that supports the Magique philosophy that most golfers are using ill-fitted equipment.

“Our data shows that 80 percent of golfers are playing with clubs that do not suit either their skill level or their physical characteristics,” said Sheppard. “There are four primary reasons why: shafts are too stiff, kick points are too high, lofts are too strong and lie angles are too flat. Those factors, combined with the fact that most clubs on the market were designed for Tour Pros and not average players, make it tough for the weekend player to get the most from their equipment. Magique equipment avoids those pitfalls and helps people play their best.”

All Magique clubs are manufactured with the company’s trademarked Gram Matched System®. Each component of the club is matched before assembly to achieve the perfect balance of weight between shaft, grip and club head – right down to the gram, and producing a consistent “delta” – the difference in distance between each club in the set.

Magique’s Gram Matched System® and attention to detail produces a consistent flex point in each club to maximize performance at impact. GMS® translates to longer, higher shots with more control, helping average golfers play with more confidence and lower their scores.
