ITASCA, Ill. -- The Zero Friction Golf Tee finished the regular PGA Tour season with a bang as three golfers using the remarkable product finished in the top 5 at the Southern Farm Bureau Classic.
One of the golfers who finished tied for second in the tournament continued his scorching late-season play, thanks to the Zero Friction's revolutionary three-pronged teeing system that adds both distance and accuracy off the tee.
The week prior he had won his first PGA Tour title, at the Chrysler Championship. The back-to-back high finishes enabled him to end the season 31st on the money-winning list with nearly $2 million in earnings.
Two others golfers using the Zero Friction tee finished tied for fifth at the Southern Farm event. Both tied for third for the week in total birdies, while one was ninth in driving distance with an average of nearly 297 yards.
In just six months since it debuted on the major professional golf tours in May, the Zero Friction Golf Tee won 11 tournaments, including eight on the PGA Tour and three on the Nationwide Tour.
