PRIMGHAR, Iowa, – Oct. 19, 2004 – The O'Brien County Sheriff's Office said it is investigating the second series of business burglaries to occur there in just the past 18 days. And it is offering a reward for information.
The most recent break-ins occurred Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. The businesses that were burglarized include the Sanborn Golf and Country Club, Hartley Golf and County Club, Paullina Golf and Country Club, the Paullina Legion Hall and Candy's Pizza Parlor in Paullina.
Suspects entered the businesses by either forcing open the doors or breaking windows. The victims reported cash and cigarettes were taken in several of the break-ins.
This recent string of burglaries occurred even as the Sheriff's Office continues its investigation into burglaries on Sept. 29 and 30 at four Primghar businesses.
The O'Brien County Sheriff's Office is asking that anyone who has information about these crimes contact that office at (712) 957-3415. A $200 reward is being offered to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest in the burglaries.
