King Cobra introduces Speed Series Fairway Metals

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Continuing a heritage of innovation and success that made King Cobra SZ Fairway Metals the #1 selling fairway model* the past two years, Cobra Golf introduces the King Cobra Speed Series Fairway Metals, the first fairway line designed to optimize every golfer's unique ball speed for unmatched distance, control and forgiveness.

The new Speed Series consists of three models, each designed for distinct player types and their specific ball speeds: X/Speed for extreme ball speed players, F/Speed for faster ball speed players, and M/Speed for moderate ball speed players. M/Speed Fairway Metals are also available in Senior's and Women's models.

"Speed Fairway Metals complement our recently launched King Cobra Speed Drivers in providing increased distance, accuracy and forgiveness across the 9 points on the clubface," said Jeff Harmet, President, Cobra Golf. "Like our King Cobra Speed Drivers, Speed Fairway Metals have a larger clubface, which, combined with Cobra's advanced face technology, optimizes flex across the clubface for increased ball speed and distance. Speed Fairway Metals launch higher and have hotter clubfaces so players can hit longer, more accurate shots from the fairway."

All King Cobra Speed Fairway Metals conform to the USGA and R&A Rules of Golf. They begin shipping to golf shops in November with a suggested retail price of $220 for graphite shafts and $190 for steel shafts.
