ORLANDO, Fla -- Marriott Golf, one of the world’s largest resort golf management companies, announced that Rob Bartley has been named Director of Golf at Camelback Golf Club, a 36-hole facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In this role, Bartley will oversee all golf & grounds maintenance, golf shop operations, and sales and marketing, while leading the golf team at Marriott International’s original golf resort.
Bartley, a 17-year veteran of Marriott International, comes to Camelback Golf Club having most recently served as the Director of Golf at the Seaview Golf Resort, a 36-hole property located in Galloway, New Jersey, and host site for the LPGA’s ShopRite Classic.
A graduate of Ferris State University, Bartley began his Marriott career as Associate Golf Professional at Marriott’s Tan-Tar-A Resort & Golf Club in Osage Beach, MO, and, in addition to his tenure at Seaview, he served as Director of Golf at some of Marriott’s premier properties including Ipswich Country Club (Ipswich, MA) and Wind Watch Golf Club (Hauppauge, NY).
“The move to Camelback is a very exciting opportunity for me and my family, and after several years on the east coast, I look forward to heading west to work with an incredible golf team at one of Arizona’s premier resort destinations,” said Bartley.
Offering 36-holes of Championship golf, Camelback Golf Club is Marriott International’s original golf property, and home to two pristine 18-hole golf courses (Club Course & Resort Course) that challenge golfers of all skill levels.
