Zero Friction golf tee users have fun at Disney

ITASCA, Ill. -- The FUNAI Classic may have been held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, but golfers using the remarkable Zero Friction Golf Tee enjoyed anything but a Mickey Mouse performance.

Two golfers teeing it up with the Zero Friction finished in the top-10 at the FUNAI Classic, last week's stop on the PGA Tour. A golfer who finished tied for third used the distance aspect of the Zero Friction's revolutionary three-pronged teeing system to finish 10th in driving distance, averaging nearly 295 yards off the tee. That included a driving average of more than 317 yards in the second round.

Another Zero Friction user tied for 8th in the tournament, helped by 25 birdies, which put him in the top-5 for the week in that category. That finish pushed the golfer's 2005 earnings to more than $2 million and virtually assured him a spot among the top-30 money winners in next week's TOUR Championship. Overall, 25 golfers who used the Zero Friction Golf Tee at the FUNAI Classic made the cut.

Another TOUR, another top finish. Also this past weekend, Zero Friction enjoyed a top-10 finish at the SBC Championship on the Champions TOUR, where a user tied for ninth.
