Callaway Golf will host PGA Senior Club Professional Championship

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- The 17th Callaway Golf PGA Senior Club Professional Championship will be contested Oct. 20-23, 2005, at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

In 1998, PGA Professional Wes Smith of Cooper City, Fla., birdied four of the final six holes, including holing a 18-foot putt on the 18th hole for a 4-under-par 68, as he captured The PGA Senior Club Professional Championship at Ibis Golf & Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla. Smith switched to a broom-handled putter eight months earlier and the move paid off.
