PGA Assist. Pro. Championship set for Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- The 29th TaylorMade-adidas Golf PGA Assistant Professional Championship will be contested Oct. 27-30, 2005, at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

In 1996, Jim Schuman of Janesville, Wis., set a course record of 65 in the third round and made a final round 25-foot eagle putt on the 16th hole of the South Course to win the ZEVO PGA Assistant Professional Championship at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

The 29th edition of the Callaway Golf PGA Senior Club Professional Championship logo TaylorMade-adidas Golf PGA Assistant Professional Championship will return to the PGA Golf Club for the 10th consecutive year. The 120-man field consists of the Assistant Champion from each of the 41 PGA Sections, Section qualifiers, the defending Champion and a representative from the PGA of Australia, the PGA of Great Britain and the Canadian PGA.
