Haas captures first Champions Tour title

USA -- Jay Haas trusts Titleist from tee-to-green for first Champions Tour victory.

Announced as the recipient of the Bob Jones Award, the highest honor bestowed by the USGA that recognizes distinguished sportsmanship, it was only fitting that Titleist ambassador Jay Haas cap off his monumental week with his first career Champions Tour crown. Trusting Titleist equipment from tee-to-green, Haas fired three consecutive rounds in the 60s to edge fellow Pro V1 players Dana Quigley by two strokes and Loren Roberts by
three at the Greater Hickory Classic.

In addition to the Pro V1 golf ball, Haas relies upon the Titleist Pro Titanium 983K (9.5) driver, Pro Trajectory 3 (15.0) and 5 (19.0) woods, Forged 690.CB (4-P) irons, Vokey Design sand (54) and lob (60) wedges and a Scotty Cameron by Titleist Studio Design putter.
