Magique Golf launches new M-3 I-Brid hyrbid club

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Magique Golf has announced the launch of its new M3 I-Brid hybrid club, designed to provide long iron feel and control and metal wood distance.

The club features an on-set hosel, small wood-style head and a low center of gravity with extreme bulge and roll, adding to the gear effect and providing straighter, more forgiving shots.

The club has a suggested retail price of $100 in True Temper Steel, $125 in UST High Performance Graphite – about half the price charged by its competitors. As with all Magique Golf clubs, the M3 I-Brid is custom fitted to each player using both static and dynamic factors, allowing players to get more playability from their Magique clubs than they would from an “off the rack” club purchase.

“Our clubs are designed for the average player, not the Tour pro,” said Sean Sheppard, president of Magique Golf. “The M3 I-Brid and all our new M-Series clubs are designed for the guy who plays once or twice a month, not the guy who does it for a living. By fitting the club specifically to each player’s swing, skill and body, we allow them to get the most from their clubs and their game.”

Sheppard added that one of the features of the M3 I-Brid is a lower kick point in the shaft, which helps players get the ball airborne more easily than those with a higher kick point. This is a feature that is found throughout the Magique line.

The M3 I-Brid, while a hybrid, gives fairway wood distance with mid-iron control and accuracy for higher, softer shots. Its small head with a low center of gravity is ideal for shots from both the rough or tight fairway lies. It is available in 17, 21 and 25 degree lofts.

The M3 I-Brid is available with the Aerotech hybrid graphite shaft, which is filament wound and therefore has a seamless structure and does not exhibit the variation of stiffness around the circumference that traditional graphite shafts do, making it one of the most uniform shafts on the market today.

In addition to the technology benefits found in the M3 I-Brid club, Magique’s custom fitting system also provides dramatic game improvement. The company uses a proprietary set of static and dynamic fitting criteria to help players get the best performance possible from their clubs, a process that supports the Magique philosophy that most golfers are using ill-fitted equipment.

“Our data shows that 80 percent of golfers are playing with clubs that do not suit either their skill level or their physical characteristics,” said Sheppard. “There are four primary reasons why: shafts are too stiff, kick points are too high, lofts are too strong and lie angles are too flat. Those factors, combined with the fact that most clubs on the market were designed for Tour Pros and not average players, make it tough for the weekend player to get the most from their equipment. Magique equipment avoids those pitfalls and helps people play their best.”

All Magique clubs are manufactured with the company’s trademarked Gram Matched System®. Each component of the club is matched before assembly to achieve the perfect balance of weight between shaft, grip and club head – right down to the gram, and producing a consistent “delta” – the difference in distance between each club in the set.

Magique’s Gram Matched System® and attention to detail produces a consistent flex point in each club to maximize performance at impact. GMS® translates to longer, higher shots with more control, helping average golfers play with more confidence and lower their scores.
