MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Centex Homes Myrtle Beach Division has named Hammond Smith real estate sales executive for Berkshire Forest in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Smith brings 10 years of sales experience and leadership skills to his new position. He is responsible for new home sales, including building and maintaining relationships with homebuyers.

Prior to joining Centex Homes, Smith served as district manager for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Atlanta, Ga., where he was named to the Vice President’s Cabinet four times.

A graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Smith is a native of Myrtle Beach, who enjoys surfing and golf. He is a member of the Dunes Club.
