GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Bouvier Kelly’s design for The Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau’s 2005 Destination & Golf Guide has received a Destination Marketing Achievement Award from the statewide association of CVB professionals.
The Guide received the Platinum Award for primary marketing publications. The recognition was part of the recent North Carolina Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau Annual Awards program.
Each year, the NCACVB honors and showcases the best in destination marketing efforts by members of the association. This year, the categories for awards included print advertising, local constituents communications, publications and destination marketing initiatives. The Destination and Golf Guide was selected for the Platinum Award on the basis of its effectiveness in achieving the CVB’s marketing objectives, according to the association. Judges consisted of out-of-state tourism marketing professionals and educators. “The Guide was recognized because its content and design accurately deliver our client’s message,” said Lou Bouvier, President and Principal of Bouvier Kelly.
“That’s gratifying, because or agency focuses on making the total creative product align with the client’s overall marketing strategy.” The 2005 Destination & Golf Guide includes information on lodging, dining, shopping, golf rates and other area attractions, and is distributed at AAA offices and welcome centers across the southeast.
