Zebulon, N.C. -- At 11:00 a.m. on November 10, Future Graphics, Inc. working with the Zebulon Country Club and partnering with the Toys for Tots Foundation will hold a special golf tournament to raise $10,000 to provide Christmas gifts for the child victims of Hurricane Katrina.
“I couldn’t bare it if I thought one of those kids was going to have no Christmas,” says David Windley, Course Manager for the Zebulon Country Club.
“By the time Christmas rolls around this year, many people will have forgotten the difficulties that the people of Louisiana and Mississippi have faced recently,” adds Kenny Stancil, Future Graphics’ vice president. “I can’t help thinking about how much those kids have lost and how much more they’ll need to get their lives back to normal. We feel compelled to help with that.”
Future Graphics will call on its business partners around the Triangle to donate services and items, and to participate in the event. Each team will be asked to donate $400 to enter the tournament and hole sponsorships will be offered at $100. A putt-off contest for the opportunity to win $5,000 will be held at the end of play and the winner will be asked to donate half of the winnings. All proceeds will go to the Toys for Tots Foundation. Future Graphics’ employees will staff the event.
Businesses and individuals who would like to participate should contact Kenny Stancil or Scheryl McDavid at Future Graphics at (919) 269-0076.
