MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday announced Wednesday that Grand Strand golf courses escaped Hurricane Ophelia with no damage and are expected to reopen on Thursday morning.
Jim Woodring, Myrtle Beach National Company's Director of Golf Operations, reported that eight of the nine Myrtle Beach National golf courses are open Wednesday for play. Only Waterway Hills is closed but the Robert Trent Jones course is expected to open this afternoon when the winds die down and the tram service over the Intracoastal Waterway is resumed.
