KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Element 21 Golf Company (E21) (OTC BB:EGLF.OB - News) announced the results of medical doctor testing of the Company's ShockBlok(TM) technology that has been engineered into Eagle One irons and shafts.
After scientific testing of the ShockBlok(TM) technology demonstrated significant reduction in shaft vibration reaching the hands, Dr. Howard Butler commissioned two Knoxville, TN, orthopedic doctors to evaluate the attributes and effects of the E21 ShockBlok(TM). Dr. Butler came to the golf industry after successfully developing some of the first orthopedic knee implants, and has since worked extensively in the development of other human body implants, and consequently, has a prominent relationships with the orthopedic community.
Dr. Jay French and Dr. Al Pinzon spent several weeks evaluating the effects on the body of hitting a golf ball during a round of golf and the role of E21's ShockBlok(TM) technology in mitigating these effects. Dr. Jay French, M.D. is an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon with the Tennessee Orthopedic Clinic, Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery, Hand Surgery and has authored numerous papers on hand injuries and treatment thereof. Dr. French worked together with Dr. Al Pinzon, M.D., M.P.H., an Interventional Physical Medicine Specialist who is Board Certified ABPMR, ABPM and is also Fellowship-trained in non-surgical Spinal Procedures.
