LOS ANGELES, CA. – Oct. 14, 2004 – Brush-T, the revolutionary golf teeing system that has consistently shown its ability to provide golfers with added distance off the tee, has announced that long drive competitor, John Marshall, used its XL-T Brush-T to qualify for the ReMax World Long Drive Championship to be held October 19 ­-23 in Mesquite, Nevada.

The District Qualifier took place in August at The Madison Golf Center in Madison, Alabama. Marshall was using a SMT Nemesis head with a loft of 5º and a Penley 3X Shaft.

A total purse of $400,000 awaits the finalists in the ReMax World Long Drive Championship, which will be broadcast on ESPN in late December.

Brush-T’s unique design features synthetic bristles that hold or tee the ball. They bend at impact providing a natural striking surface, similar to hitting off grass. More importantly, they reduce resistance to improve distance and reduce sidespin to increase accuracy.
