“The online booking service is always available and simple to use,” said Christopher Sheaffer, Mountain Branch general manager. “It allows players to shop for available tee times quickly and easily from any computer with Internet access. That saves time since you don’t have to call the pro shop to make playing arrangements,” he said.
With a few mouse clicks - anyone with access to the Internet can see what’s available during a user-defined timeframe, then hold a tee time for future play. Tee times may be booked online up to 14 days in advance.
Additionally, Mountain Branch has launched an easy to use “Internet Specials” page on its new website. Golfers are encouraged to visit the Internet Specials page often to take advantage of great deals and value added offers.
The new GPS system ensures the state-of-the-art experience continues on the golf course, answering the question “are we there yet?” in great detail. The system denotes exact yardages, gives playing advice for each hole and shows you exactly where your cart is on a graphical display of the hole you are playing.
It’s all the data players need to make good club selection and strategy decisions on the course - like having a virtual caddy with you on every round.
During tournaments and events, the system displays real-time scoring and leaderboard information. The system is also used to alert players of special conditions or news of the day.
Players can even use the GPS screen to order lunch prior to their arrival at the turn.
