Orlando, FL. - Oct. 11, 2004 - John Hughes is a PGA Professional who resides in the Hilton Head Island, South Carolina area. Hughes has over 13 years of golf professional experience and over 20 years of golf industry experience. Hughes’ duties will include business development, school program content, location acquisition, instructor training, and the supervision of the company’s 17 nationwide locations.
Hughes will base his teaching practice for Advantage Golf School at Oyster Reef Golf Club located on Hilton Head Island, as well as teaching at the other 16 partner facilities around the country.

Hughes’ accomplishments include two nominations as the Carolina PGA Section’s Teacher of the Year. He is an associate member of the Golf Coaches Association of America and the National Golf Coaches Association. Hughes is currently conducting research for a golf instructional book, which he plans to publish within the next 18 months.
