Demo Night returns to PGA Fall Expo with new networking party

NORWALK, Conn. – Demo Night returns to the 2005 PGA Fall Expo in Las Vegas on Sept. 28th, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., featuring a new networking party and complimentary cook-out dinner. PGA Professionals and influential golf buyers will be able to personally field test equipment and products of more than 30 golf manufacturers in the open practice range of the Callaway Golf Center, the Strip’s premier practice facility.

This year’s Demo Night adds special events, contests and complimentary dinner to the popular golf product demonstration event featuring 30 hitting bays, a putting green, chipping green, and non-equipment exhibits. Demo Night is open to all PGA Fall Expo attendees presenting their event badge. PGA Golf Exhibitions also will provide complimentary shuttle service from the Las Vegas Convention Center to the Callaway Golf Center.

“Demo Night has become one of our most popular special events and the new networking party and cook-out dinner make a great addition,” said PGA Golf Exhibitions Vice President and Show Manager Ed Several. “The combination of influential PGA Professionals and buyers field-testing a multitude of products outdoors in a casual networking environment makes this a fun and productive evening for all who attend.”

The Callaway Golf Center, the Strip’s only lighted practice facility, offers a two-tiered 113-stall lighted practice range, putting and chipping greens, and a nine-hole lighted par-3 course.

Scheduled during a prime business cycle for thousands of influential PGA Professionals, golf retailers, manufacturers and industry leaders, the 2005 PGA Fall Expo, Sept. 28-29, will feature equipment, apparel, accessories and services of some 300 golf-related exhibitors within approximately 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendees will be able to test equipment in the ETC (equipment test center); discover the hottest apparel; preview the latest golf merchandise in the New Product Center; and participate in contests and special events packed into the final two hours of the event. This year’s Expo features new exhibit hours: Sept. 28th, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. & Sept. 29th, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

An expansive education conference, 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 & 29 in the LVCC, will offer five professional development tracks of more than 30 diverse seminars including advanced retailing, marketing & promotions, merchandising, personnel & service, management & operations, and retailing basics.

The PGA Fall Expo is an industry event and not open to the public. PGA Professionals can register easily with their member ID and golf buyers will need to show proof of industry status. Members of golf’s allied organizations and other industry professionals also may easily utilize online registration.
