HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. -- Never Compromise proudly introduces the Gray Matter 2 (GM2) line of putters. Originally recognized as the company whose putters incorporated three-piece technology, Never Compromise went back to the drawing board to update and modernize this extreme weighting system. The end result is the GM2 line of putters which have
strategically placed copper tungsten weights in the heel and toe to perfect their balance and raise their moment of inertia, or resistance to twisting. With a body made of lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum; each GM2 putter features 80% of its total weight in the heel and toe area.
To further increase its stability, designers have positioned an aluminum-infused, composite weave insert into the face of each putter. Being only half as dense as standard aluminum, this high-tech insert allows for additional weight to be shifted away from the putter's face while giving golfers a highly responsive feel.
"I liked the idea of three-piece technology from the beginning," said Greg Hopkins, President/CEO of Cleveland Golf, "But our design team really took it to a new level in the GM2 putters."
Used by Vijay Singh to secure his victory at the 2005 Buick Open, the GM2 is slated to begin shipping August 15th, 2005; Gray Matter putters come in three models and feature an MSRP of $255.
