Collection given seal of approval at Loch Lomond

SCOTLAND -- "Best golf clothing collection for men and ladies, outstanding quality weatherproofs at excellent prices."

That was the glowing endorsement for Premier Style's European Golf Tour Collection from knowledgeable golf fans at The Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond, who had sampled Premier Style hospitality the previous year.

While South African Tim Clark was picking up the winner's cheque out on the course, official merchandiser Premier Style proved its performance was no less polished off it.

Cash sales were well up on last year's event at the prestigious Scottish course, according to European sales director Amanda Gunning-Sabini, with the male contingent in the crowd making a beeline for the Loch Lomond-branded European Golf Tour Collection products in particular.

"We are delighted with the success of the merchandising operation at Loch Lomond," said Amanda. "The shop size increased this year to accommodate greater retailing space and create a real shop environment.

"Visitors commented that the quality of the garments was exceptional the prices very affordable."

The best-selling men's products were the short-sleeved, light quarter-zip wind top, black and stone pique polo shirts and long-sleeved turtle necks - all of which are featured in the current catalogue.

The ladies' range was just as popular, the merchandising pavilions selling out of ladies' classic stone and navy capris and shorts, striped 'body loving' jersey polo shirts, long-sleeved wind tops, two ways full-zip knitwear and 'clip on' visors in pretty blush pink and delicate sky blue!

"Many visitors commented on how good it was to be able to purchase co-ordinate garments, from polo shirts and trousers right through to fashion hats and gloves," said Amanda.

They also loved the fact that we were previewing the autumn/winter 05 collection for men, ladies and juniors, she added.

"Quintessentially, Premier Style has, for the last 14 years, designed, manufactured and distributed corporate own brand wear for quality businesses in the automotive and leisurewear industry," said Amanda.

"Having worked with the likes of Alton Towers and holiday companies, we have developed extensive skills in all aspects of children's clothing. That, combined with our knowledge of the golfing apparel world, enabled us to create the perfect collection for five to 12 year olds."

Amanda added: "Launching in autumn/winter 05 was a brilliant decision by our marketing department. Parents and children alike are thrilled to find such perfect weatherproofs, body warmers, knit and accessories.

"There is a huge demand for a full, technical children's range and Premier Style is the first one to have produced it - and that's important as these are the players of the future.
