PLANO, TX - Adams Golf (OTCBB: ADGO) takes first place and second place at the Senior British Open Championship.
Tom Watson beat Des Smyth (both Adams staff players) on the third hole of the sudden-death playoff. This was Tom Watson's fourth major on The Champions Tour and second win on the Senior British Open.
Ever since Tom switched to the RPM 460 DUAL he has played remarkable golf, demonstrating the difference 460 cc's and adjustable weight technology can make, even for the world's best golfers.
The RPM DUAL is the first 460cc driver Watson has played. He switched to it at the Kansas City event in June and finished second. He's played great golf ever since, with an under par performance at the British Open and now a win at Royal Aberdeen.
"We congratulate Tom on a great Senior British Open victory", stated Chip Brewer, CEO of Adams Golf. "Tom continues to do extremely well at this event and links golf in general. We are glad to be a part of his team."
Watson's Bag: RPM DUAL Driver, Ovation Fairway Wood, Redline RPM Fairway Wood, GT Tour Irons and a Watson Wedge.
Smyth's Bag: Redline Driver, two Ovation Fairway Woods, two Idea Hybrid's, Idea a1 Pro Irons, and two Adams proto-type Puglielli wedges.
