PeakVision Sports introduces new eyewear models

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Featuring unprecedented and patented Dual-Zone technology in its proven, 100 percent distortion-free lenses, PeakVision Sports introduces three new high performance eyewear models to its stylish line of golf specific sunglasses: Cyber, Slam, and Spin.

Model capsules:

Cyber – Marked by elegant styling in an aluminum-injected frame, Cyber delivers a weightless fit and a progressive look in a three-piece, rimless frame. Available in matte graphite, MSRP $209.

Slam – Anchored by medium-weight, flex-hinge frames and featuring an adjustable nosepiece to fit even the most hard-to-fit faces, Slam possesses a sturdy feel and sporty look. Available in matte graphite. MSRP $149.

Spin – Featuring an aggressive style and a secure, weightless fit, Spin’s comfort-style nosepiece and lightweight frame ensure a superb fit that complements the sporty, athletic look. Available in polished black and graphite, MSRP $119.

“We are excited to introduce these three new models to golfers seeking game improvement through optical enhancement,” says PeakVision Sports CEO and founder Paul Moore. “Every good shot begins with what your eyes are able to see and communicate to the brain about the shot.”

A paradigm-shifting breakthrough in sunglass design, Cyber, Slam and Spin feature PeakVision’s innovative Dual-Zone lenses. The neutral-density gray tinting in the upper zone reduces glare and allows for accurate distance perception. The amber-tuned color in the lower zone highlights the contours of the green for better reads of putts than with the naked eye. Incorporating these two filters into one lens creates optimal visual acuity.

These competitive advantages parallel PeakVision’s “See Better, Play Better” moniker and are causing golfers – including PGA TOUR players Billy Andrade and Scott McCarron, Champions Tour great Bruce Fleisher, and golf commentator David Feherty -- to rapidly adopt PeakVision Sports sunglasses as a valuable component in their equipment arsenal.

PeakVision Sports eyewear recently rated superior to other leading sunglass brands in a scientific study conducted by noted optometrist Dr. Craig Farnsworth. Farnsworth – a developmental optometrist known as the “Putt Doctor” for his work with over 60 PGA TOUR players – compared high performance eyewear manufacturers across nine key categories. PeakVision received the highest rating in eight of the nine areas of evaluation.

About PeakVision Sports

The first major innovation in golfer-sunglass technology in more than 40 years, PeakVision Sports’ high-performance eyewear represents a radical step in optical design and manufacturing. The vast majority of sunglasses since the 1960s have had single-filter, polycarbonate lenses incapable of properly distinguishing between the bright hues of the horizon and sky and the dark hues of terrain and landscape.

The material used in PeakVision Sports lenses is a revolutionary optical polymer that offers superior optical clarity and uniformity, scratch resistance, durability and ultra-light weight compared to polycarbonate. This material is the latest technology, originally developed for the windscreens in military helicopters. PeakVision eyewear provides 100 percent UV400 protection from the entire spectrum of dangerous UV radiation.

In addition to the Cyber, Slam and Spin models, PeakVision Sports recently unveiled four distinct, stylish offerings for golfers: Classic, Chip, Shot and Neva. All men’s and women’s Classic and Chip models are available in six stylish finishes (matte and polished black, matte and polished tortoise, polished graphite and metallic silver) with interchangeable lenses. MSRP: Classic ($129), Chip ($149), Shot ($149), Neva ($139).
