Upswing Golf offers tournament planners a way to add value to their event

Woodinville, WA. (July 27, 2005) – Organizations who run golf tournaments or
auctions to raise money for their cause, can now take advantage of a new promotional
program offered by the Upswing Golf Company. As a way to introduce its golf clubs directly to the golfing public, Upswing has introduced The Tournament Directors
Program which allows event organizers to purchase a select group of clubs at a
considerable discount. Event organizers use the clubs to raise money for their cause by auctioning, raffling or giving them away as prizes.

“We enjoy working with event organizers and have created a win-win situation, says Richard Merk, President of Upswing Golf. "Upswing Golf gets our clubs exposed to all the golfers in an event and the event organizers in turn generate added revenue for their organizations.” Founded by golf industry veterans who have over 40 years of design, development and manufacturing experience, Upswing Golf sells top quality and performance golf equipment directly to the public. (Tournament planners and event organizers are invited to call Upswing at 1-866-794-6408 or visit www.upswinggolf.com/tournaments.htm for more information.)

The Tournament Directors Program offers both pre-selected and customized selection of clubs in a series of seven Tournament Directors Packages that start below $100 and carry retail values of $350 and higher. For example, Tournament Directors Package III carries a retail value of over $1,000. The package includes the Upswing Golf 400cc Titanium Driver and 7 Wood both with frequency matched Aldila graphite shafts, 280cc Stainless Steel graphite shafted Driver, Putter and three wedges (Gap, Sand & Lob) for under $250 including shipping & order processing.

Upswing will also work with event organizers to customize a tournament package that is just right for their event. Each package is shipped with a handsome display stand and a Free Golf Club Certificate offer that can be given to all the golfers in their event. “Fundraising events that have tested our program have been very pleased with the return on their investment, says Mr. Merk, and we are very pleased with the calls for additional information the program has generated. We are finding it more cost effective than driving up the cost of our clubs with unnecessary markups, endorsements and advertising.”

The Tournament Directors packages are an expansion of an already popular Free Golf
Club Certificate program that provides any golf tournament free golf club certificates at
no charge. The Free Golf Club Certificate program allows each golfer to receive one free
club from a selection of Upswing Golf Clubs for a nominal charge that includes shipping, order processing and performance fitting. The certificates are typically put in each golfer’s “goody bag” as an added reward for playing in the charitable event. “We are confident that golfers who try our free offer and experience first hand the exceptional quality and performance of our products will want more Upswing products,” says Mr. Merk. Tournament organizers are not obligated to purchase a Directors Package to receive the Free Golf Club Certificates.
