Antrim Dells Golf Course, designed by Jerry Mathews, is a 32 year old championship course rated FOUR STARS in Golf Digest’s 2002 and 2004: “Places To Play” and former Co-host for The Michigan Amateur. This year we are remodeling the clubhouse exterior with a new deck for visitors to watch the sunsets over Grand Traverse Bay and new cedar siding to present a fresh look on a vintage clubhouse.
Those who have played Antrim Dells a number of years ago might be refreshingly surprised by the improvements on the course, thanks to our Green Team. We have been receiving comments like:
"This course is back to the original Michigan Amateur standards" or "The greens are in excellent shape, we’ve never seen them better!"
We have a number of large groups that come back every year because of our rates, excellent service and our home cooked buffets (please visit our website to see samples of our banquet menus: www.antrimdellsgolf.com). Our Clubhouse sits high overlooking holes #1 and hole #10 and offers a great view of Grand Traverse Bay. The banquet room and restaurant combined can comfortably seat a group of up to 150 people
We also offer several rental houses (see our newest addition on our website under Lodging: Torch Lake Landing!) and work with several hotels and golf courses in the area for a variety of "Stay & Play" packages at very affordable rates.
My wife Kathy and I are the next generation to manage Antrim Dells Golf Course; we moved up from the Chicago area to Northern Michigan in June of 2003. We are working diligently to promote golf outings and “stay and play” packages on a limited advertising budget. We are tucked away in the country but conveniently located between Traverse City and Charlevoix, MI on US 31.
