Aserta Sports appoints veteran Steve Gray as director of sales

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Steve Gray has joined Aserta Sports, Inc. makers of the ECLIPSE and MONSTER putters, as National Director of Sales. Gray began his career in 1979 as a PGA professional and served as head professional at Bellwood Country Club in Cincinnati, OH. He spent thirteen years as an independent sales representative for Cleveland Golf and Callaway Golf. In 1997 Gray was hired as Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Reebok Golf. Two years later, Gray joined Ashworth, Inc. as Eastern Regional Sales Manager where he was responsible for all sales administration of men's and women's golf apparel.

"A successful golf club product must meet three criteria," commented Gray. "And Aserta's putters are one of the few products that successfully meet all three. They are visibly different and easily recognized. They are demonstrably different and their technical advances actually work. Aserta putters are uniquely different, not a me-to product. There are too many of those out there," he continued. "I am very excited about Aserta's Inverted Mass Technology (IVM). Our success continues to grow on the professional tours," explained Gray. "My charge is to increase our brand identity on the retail and consumer level and to show players that Aserta putters will make them better players"

"Steve Gray brings years of experience from both sides of the counter and a deep knowledge of the golf industry to Aserta Sports," commented Mike Bonneau, Aserta's Founder. "His drive and enthusiasm will be a great addition to our entire nationwide sales team," continued Bonneau.

"Steve comes to us with a strong record of growing a diversity of businesses in the golf industry. We're delighted to have his skills and sales leadership, along with his
ability to pitch in with the tools and approaches that have enabled his teams to successfully achieve their goals" added Dick Selmeier, President and CEO, Aserta Sports, Inc.

In 2003 Mike Bonneau Aserta's Founder introduced the golf industry to IVM - Inverted Mass Technology. IVM actually raises the center of gravity of the putter head. This breakthrough allows the ball to be struck at the equator with the majority of the putter head's mass producing immediate topspin and a true and accurate roll. Traditional putters, with a low center of gravity create backspin causing the ball to hop and skid before it starts rolling.

Located in San Jose, CA, Aserta Sports, Inc is the inventor and manufacturer of Inverted Mass Technology, the patented process which raises the putter's center of gravity into the perfect position to automatically impart topspin instead of backspin, hopping or skidding caused by bottom heavy putters. With Aserta, the golf ball starts rolling accurately toward its target the instant it leaves the clubface.
