Zero Friction Golf Tee shines at St. Andrews

Five players who used the Zero Friction Golf Teeâ„¢ during the British Open finished in the top 15, including one who tied for third. Zero Friction users also recorded two ties for 11th and two ties for 15th. In all, nine players who zeroed in on Zero Friction's unique three-pronged teeing system made the cut.

"We knew that we would have a healthy field of players using Zero Friction Tees at the British Open. The Old Course at St. Andrews is an open links course where conditions could be hazardous and we were confident that Tour players who wanted to control their ball flight in the wind would put our product into play," says Mike Herron, Business Development Manager for Excel Golf Tee, Inc., the parent company of Zero Friction.

The Zero Friction tee provides less resistance between the golf ball and the golf tee for longer, straighter drives. Its reduced spin rate fights dispersion, thereby keeping the ball on line and in the fairway.
