WILMINGTON, N.C. -- If you are looking to improve your golf swing, look no further. Accelerized Golf of Wilmington uses computer technology to diagnose swing flaws. And now we are offering lessons with Beverly Fergusson, a Class-A Member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Membership.
With 24 years of experience teaching golf all over the world, Beverly combines her own perspective and expertise with our revolutionary Hotlines Technology. This technology gives you instant, mid-swing feedback that lets you identify an error, adjust and train your mind and body for the perfect swing. Swing improvements are presented in a clear, quantifiable and sequential order that allows you to build a lasting solution to ball striking. Most important, everything is recorded on DVD: video graphics, swing analysis AND instruction, to be kept by the student and reviewed whenever needed.
Originally from Greensboro, NC, Beverly received a BA from Guilford College and a Masters of Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has been voted a Top 50 Teacher in America by Golf Range Magazine, and by Golf for Women Magazine. She was also nominated as a Top 100 Instructor by Golf Magazine. Beverly was the LPGA Northeast Section Teacher of the Year and a Past President of the Northeast Section of the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Membership.
Beverly was formerly the Director of Instruction at LPGA International, Headquarters of the LPGA. Prior to that, Beverly helped create the teaching program at the Tournament Players Club at Avenel in Potomac, MD. While at Avenel, she cofounded Business Women’s Golf*Link, a 300 member professional women’s golf association in the Washington, DC area.
Before coming to Wilmington, Beverly taught golf at Rancho Santa Fe Farms and at The Hodges Learning Center in San Diego, CA. She is a published author, guest speaker, and corporate golf instructor.
Whether it’s helping students hit longer, straighter drives, working on solid contact with middle irons, or mastering the mechanics of the short shots, Beverly Fergusson can help golfers lower their scores with every club in the bag.
