Balance-Certified Golf reaches dealer milestone

Balance-Certified Golf, Inc. (BCG) has announced plans for expansion of their Certified Dealer Base. VP of Sales and Tour Representative John Cranston said, "We have done pretty well in just our four years of operation. We have achieved our first goal of 500 Certified Dealers in the U.S. market and most major markets are represented by BCG Dealers. We have done amazingly well on the Tours, with over 120 professionals using our Pro-Balanceā„¢ systems, and their performance speaks for itself."

BCG has Certified Dealers in a number of key golf demographics: teachers, custom club builders, OEMs, retail shops, and green grass. "We probably are the only product that cuts across the entire spectrum of golf activity," said Cranston. "With the portability of our system, the ease of fitting and installation and margins that are not being undercut by big box or internet sales, we believe that a person becoming a BCG dealer has a great opportunity to reach more customers, build customer loyalty and increase their sales."

Company President and lead design engineer Jeff Lindner said, "What makes our product so attractive to both the small shop or independent teacher is the low buy-in cost for the fitting system and inventory. They can usually recover their initial investment with just a few fittings. Our customer satisfaction runs higher than 90% so we know we are making a difference in the performance of golfers at all levels. And our sell-through is usually measured in weeks or days, not quarters or seasons. Obviously, that is very important in today's highly competitive marketplace."

Balance-Certified Golf, Inc. is the leader in Tour balancing and fitting with their patent pending counterweighting system. Fitting only takes about 15 minutes and installation is less than two minutes. The system's MSRP is $39.95. VP Cranston said, "We have some copycats out there so I guess we should take being imitated as a compliment, but believe me, out on Tour, the players come to us to 'get balanced'."

The company has streamlined the application process by making the dealer application accessible via their website, www.balance-certified.com, and providing their dealers with DVD, online support and training. BCG is a national presence on Tour with Tom Jenkins dominating the Champions Tour in recent years with his Balance-Certified equipped putter and Scott Hoch serving as Technical Advisor to the company.

The 2005 ING Ingenuity Award for Emerging Companies was awarded to BCG at the 2005 PGA tradeshow in Orlando as voted on by golf industry peers.
